This location is the BEST. Their 'works with cheese whiz' is so amazing and their french fries are always super crispy.

Great place to get a cheesesteak in this part of Denver suburbs. I used to travel to Philly for work several times a year and this feels really authentic. Flavor can be a bit hit or miss sometimes so be sure to get it with onions and peppers, but you should definitely check out Taste of Philly when you need to get your cheesesteak on.

The pepper steak was amazing. Reminded me of the ones I had in Philly. Aptly named. :)

It aint philly but as close as you can get right down to the amarosa roll sooo good I eat there at least once a week reminds me of home on the east coast def is a True Taste of Philly!

I am so glad this place is close to home. I usually get the regular cheesesteak and cheese fries. It is fantastic and I will be a loyal customer for life!

I received an email at work from another co worker that shared a Dizzle with me. $6 for $12 worth of food. I thought heck, ill try it. I will definitely be going back there, It was surprisingly good. I got the green chili cheesesteak, it was great! A little pricey in my book... $8 for a 12 incher but they werent skimpy with the meat, so all in all it wasnt too bad. The staff was very nice... I had ordered one cheesesteak and fries to go which they told me to let them know when I was getting ready to leave and they would make it then, so it wouldnt be sitting there. They also offered to wrap up my leftovers. Good service! Good food! Worth another trip!

These guys make a mean Philly cheese steak and their french fries are a perfect compliment. Always friendly service here.

  • Ted A.

A guy's dream. Do yourself a favor and get cheese whiz on your philly, try it at least once and you'll see why it's the authentic style. And if you like spicy, add jalapeños because they really do it up right and cook them in with the steak and onions. The bread is the best and that's all there is to it. The fries are great and they have coke products, as well as bottled soda to go. Three flat screens on the walls always tuned to sports. The girls behind the counter are cute and friendly. Fills up fast at lunch.

I still enjoy a good Philly cheesesteak, but I have to remove a star for poor delivery service. According to Google, I live nine minutes away from this location, and we were quoted a delivery time of one hour and ten minutes. I called an hour and a half later, and was told it would be there "very soon." About half an hour after that, I called again, was promised a $10 credit (which was nice) and was told my order would be there "any minute now," which finally was correct. Two hours for two sandwiches? Also, they were out of onion rings, and it boggles my mind a little bit that a place specializing in a sandwich that always includes onions could run out of onion rings. That said, their sandwiches are tasty and I'm sure I'll be back for takeout, but NOT for delivery.

Just finished a small mushroom, onion and cheesesteak. Yum!! Perfect combination, not too much cheese just enough. Why hadn't I found this place before. Friendly service, great prices. I will be back. Many, many times

Let me start by saying that I LOVE the food at Taste of Philly. That is the only reason that they get 2 stars from me. Taste of Philly has always had that kind of poor to low level customer service, but I didnt care because the food was delicious. Until today. I called this location, which has delivered to without question 3 times in the last 3 months. The man who aswered the phone picked it up and said "Are you on your way?" When I responded with a confused "hello?" he responded sharply with "PLEASE HOLD," and he promptly hung up on me. I called back, provided my phone number and address. When he asked for me to clarify my crosstreets, I did. At this point he became very smug, and told me that they just changed their delivery area today, and they don't go passed my street anymore. When I clarified that I am directly on that street, he advised that I was on the wrong side of it, and chuckled. With that kind of attitude, I guess I'll be going to Pat's from now on.

The delivery was fast but the food was not great. My pastrami sandwich was $9.49 but it looked like a $2.00 sandwich, subway puts more meat in a 6" sub than taste of Philly. I was extremely disappointed. We also ordered the green chili Philly, husband said it was just okay but not worth the money. Probably wont eat here again..

Very very poor service, I ordered online for delivery and after waiting for an hour I called to find out what was going on. The person who answered the phone stated that my order was the next one up and would arrive in about 15 minutes I told her that the order was placed an hour ago. I could hear someone yelling from the background and then the girl told me that the order had only been in for 30 minutes. I let her know that I have an email confirmation that says when the order was placed. The story then changed and my order had been in for 45 minutes I said no but submitted as long as my food would arrive shortly. I allowed them another 20 minutes before I called again to speak to a manager who told me that with an online order it takes 15 minutes to receive the order... I highly doubt that ... and that my order was on the way. This manager could care less that I had to wait a ridiculous amount of time. I will never order from this place again. Horrible and slow service. Total wait time 1 HOUR 30 MINUTES

So tonight was the first time my wife and I went here. Very very mediocre experience. The service was ok. The fries were actually pretty good. But my wife got the mushroom cheesesteak and they put zero cheese on hers. It made it so dry. I got the works cheesesteaks and they put cheese on only half and the meat was super dry. I would maybe try this place one more time but it's not that great.

Taste of Philly uses real Amoroso Rolls which is nice for us people from the Philly area. They also put a lot of meat and cheese on the 12" rolls.

This was our first experience with Taste of Philly and we loved it. Ordering online was super easy, delivery was right on time and the food was delicious! It's nice to have another option for delivery instead of the usual pizza and Chinese! We will order from them again for sure!

    (5)
  • Korina A.

oH MY GOSH, something other than pizza and Chinese for delivery, I will take it any time, the food was fresh, the food was delicious and filling, the order was correct, hot and early, who could ask for anything more.

yum in my tum. I just got back from Philadelphia, and these taste just like Genos! This place is seconds away from my work and it's so tempting to go there and get fries everyday. Definitely recommend!

I get the impression that this Taste of Philly is not in the same franchise that you find in other Taste of Philly locations around the Denver area. THAT IS A GOOD THING. This is the best Taste of Philly I have been to. The restaurant has a "sports bar" quality to it. They have a number of TVs perched near the ceiling showing sports. The store is decorated in all things Philadelphia. Sports logos, skylines of the city, Rocky posters. It is generally clean and cozy. The food is fantastic. The signature dish is the "Original", a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. This sandwich comes with chopped up steak, onions, and cheese melted in with the mix. The "small" is usually more than I can eat. They have great combo pricing that comes with a drink and fries/chips. At the other Taste of Philly's to which I have been, french fries are not an option. To me, french fries make the meal. There is usually a 5 to 10 minute wait between ordering and when the food is delivered to your tables. Their staff is usually on top of things. I have yet to have my order messed up or forgotten. This place fills up fast for lunches, even on the weekend. There are a number of options on the kid's menu for the junior diners.

Amazing cheesesteaks, I am a fan. I really like cheesesteaks, that's why I am willing to try a bunch of places that have them. Even if they are pricey and not very healthy. Taste of Philly and Denver Ted's are my favorites. They offer other sandwiches other than cheesesteaks (hoagies and grinders), as well as salads and wraps. I have tried their fries and they are good. Taste of Philly is not cheap, but it is worth it. This location is fine. Dinning area is OK and there is plenty of space to park. If you like cheesesteaks, you must try Taste of Philly.

  • Jon S.

Best cheesesteak I have I have ever had, hands down. I used to go here all the time when I lived in the area, and make a special point to go when I visit. Their cheesesteaks are big and filling, for a decent price.

Being from New England I can tell you THIS PLACE IS THE BOMB. Their food is TOP Notch for New Jersey/NYC food. They are very friendly as well...Just make sure you do NOT go to the Broadway location in Denver... it has bone and gristle in it. I couldn't finish the sandwich there, called a few weeks later to let them know and the manager denied there was a problem and told me I was berating him.... Highlands Ranch Philly does not own the Broadway location.. so just be aware... otherwise, this place is amazing.

This is my second review of this place and not much has changed really. I still like it and think its a great lunch stop. And here comes the "but" part of my review. Except it doesn't only apply to this place but also to other places that do this that drives me crazy. It was in my recent stop here that made me realize how much it bugs me so unfortunately this is the place I will choose to vent. I walked in and ordered two sandwiches that came to about $12 or $14. I hand the guy a $20 and he gives me change. I put the change in my pocket and the guy looks at me than down at the plastic bucket placed on the counter that says "tips". I ignore this and go sit down to wait for my purchase. He than picks up the tip bucket and dumps it on the counter and proceeds to count it all out in front of everyone as though he is trying to make a statement to everyone. This got me thinking. Isn't tips for service provided? I'm simply buying a sandwich for the advertised price. I pay the price you hand me the sandwich and the transaction is complete. What am I tipping for? If your not making enough money selling your sandwiches than raise the price. Now if I sat at a table and you came and took my order. Than filled a requested drink and brought it to me with my sandwich. Than came and cleaned the mess up afterwords, well ok there is a service in that transaction. But simply pointing at an item on a menu and handing you money and you handing me the item from the menu is not a tipable transaction. Plus I'm pretty sure your making more dollars an hour than a waiter or bartender that works for the minimum wage ($4.75) for service providers that rely on tips. Also according to Colorado state law, if you make more than $30.00 in tips a month the employer can put you at the $4.75 an hour rate. So I would be careful with that tip jar. However I will still be back for further sandwich for money transactions in the future. My tip to you will be cut the bucket off at $29.00 every month.

Amazing cheesesteaks, I am a fan. Consistenly good food at somewhat reasonable prices. They offer other sandwiches other than cheesesteaks (hoagies and grinders), as well as salads and wraps. I have tried their fries and they are good. Taste of Philly is not cheap, but it is worth it.

Yum yum. Loves the cheese steak here, hands down. Order it with the cheez whiz, and extra! Generous portions on the steak and the sides. Menu was kinda limited on what the kiddo would eat, but that's fine. And they deliver, too. Think I found my new favorite delivery place.

Tried this philly steak shop and it was a little hard to find without a sign on the outside wall because there is some construction going on. If you have a friend, getting a super 12 inch is cheaper than getting 2 small 6 inches. We tried the original with cheese whiz and I think the meat is very good quality as I note there was not a lot of grease. The bread is fresh but I like it a little crustier on the outside. They also made the original with cheese whiz on the bread directly and I like it over the top as direct bread contact can make it mushy. All in all, the place is very delicious.

Unfortunately I cannot agree with other reviews. If I had wanted a grinder sandwich, I would have gone to the toasted sub place. Since when is a cheesesteak roll, toasted or put on a grill? That tells me the roll was not fresh. Ordered a Pizza Cheesesteak, and the sauce and cheese is mixed together with the meat. Go to Phila., this is not done. Disappointed with the overall situation. As a final note, they really need to clean the place.

Good food, good people and great prices. How could you go wrong? Make sure to ask for suggestions before ordering the staff is more than helpful.

I ordered "The Works" Philly sandwich. It was good, but I wouldn't say it was fantastic. The top portion of the sandwich was dry, but the bottom section was moist (I think it's because the cheese was at the bottom). I ordered a small sandwich and I only ate half. The fries were pretty tasty. My dad and brother rave about this place, so I don't know if I had high expectations, or maybe they were having an off-day. Anyhow, I'll definitely give them a try again.

This location opens at 10:30 which is good when you have an early lunch and need to find something more than the Big M or BK. The location is spacious with plenty of parking and at 11 am they were jumping. They make a decently substantial sandwich and are pretty quick about it as well. I ordered prior to leaving my office so I didn't have to waste any time. I walked in and there it was waiting. I ordered my familiar favorite. Steak and Cheese, extra Onion, It's the middle of the day, who am I gonna be sommchin?? Pile on the onions please! The bread was soft, the meat was plentiful as were the cheese and onions. Large sandwich was enough to share with my boss who didn't bring lunch so for 2 people to have lunch, not too shabby. The even use spot for rewards. If you're not familiar, this is a loyalty cars that a ton of places use so you don't have to have a dozen cards. You just use the same one and it registers it. This location also offers additional rewards if you like their FB page and share it.

The cheesesteaks are always delicious, and this location has pretzel rolls, which make it even better. The staff is always very friendly, our orders are always right. Very highly recommended. Usually stop in every week or two and have never been disappointed.

My family and I love this place! We always order the same thing - steak sandwiches with the works and French fries. They use quality steak and all of their ingredients are fresh! Plus, the prices are reasonable. What more can you ask!!!

  • Kimberly I.

Good food, good service, good prices. What's not to like! Their cheese steaks are delicious. I recommend trying The Works and pairing that with the onion rings. The 12" is enough to share with 2 people with onion rings as a side. Their staff is always friendly, you can call in a pickup order and I know they deliver within a specific local area.

  • Jim K.

Love this place for sure. My favorite is the Chicken Philly with added Jalapeno's. Their fries are also second to none. This has become one of my all time favorites and usually stop when I am in the area. The staff is always friendly and upbeat.

My friend and I pulled up to this place. We both noted how much of a hole in the wall it was. We were really in the mood for a cheese steak. This place was a good find. Our cheesesteaks were super good. Fresh, hot, cheesey, perfect. it was a little sad that the intrior of the place left a little to be desired but the food made up for that. If you want a cheap good cheesesteak stop into this place. It's worth it. If you want a cheesesteak but your friend doesn't that's fine too. they have other yummy things on the menu for your friend to have.

I always try to hit this place up for a late lunch cause it gets rushed during the peak lunch times 1130-130. Why? Well because it's good. I've only know one other philly cheese steak place that can produce a better product. Along with the quality the people here are the friendliest I've ever know at a cheese steak place, which is a little unnerving at first. I miss the east coast fuck you and eat it attitude you find at other places. That being said there are two complaints I have about this place. First is their pepper cheese steak. At any other establishment this would mean that they mix in chopped sweet & hot cherry peppers with the cheese steak. Instead they put green bell peppers which is for a lack of better words "whack". Now they do have the cherry peppers as an add in option but instead of mixing it with the cheese steak they spread a layer on the bottom of the sandwich bread. This leaves you with no cherry peppers on the top bite of the sandwich and a shit ton on the bottom bite, it will suffice but come on this is cheese steak 101. The other complaint I have is the fact that there isn't a pickle, jalapeño, peppercini bar. Sometimes I like to add pickles to my sandwich, sometimes I just like to eat a few on the side. Again this is the only cheese steak place that I've ever been to that didn't have one, not that I've visited everyone in the country but still it's disappointing. That being said it is still a great product that has me coming back on a near weekly basis. So if you're in the area and hankering for something good check it out

Mushroom Cheesesteak, "Wit Wiz." It's the way to go, man. I can almost hear the Doo-Wop on the corner down the street from Pat's and Geno's. In other words, it's pretty legit. They use bread flown in from Philly. They're friendly and quick, and the cheesesteaks are cooked to order. Personally, I like to leave mine wrapped for a bit, allowing the bread to properly steam into street side goodness. So to-go is perfect for me. I was a little disappointed that they no longer carry Tastycakes. Something about their distributor stopping their supply. Bummer, man. But otherwise, total thumbs up.

I thoroughly enjoyed the cheese steak and cheese fries. CHEESE!

  • Tolis V.

Whyyyyy? I honestly don't think it's hard to make a good cheese steak! Why does the bread has to be so low quality? It turns soggy instantly! The meat is not much better... Get some quality ingredients, and you ll see customers forming huge lines. Till then, nope! Former Philly resident!

I met my girlfriend here for lunch on a Friday afternoon. We each ordered the Original Philly . As far as Philly Cheesesteaks go, these were very good. I've always thought Philly's were overpriced at most places I've been, but Taste of Philly was right in line with the others'. Maybe I just need some calibration. Sandwiches are made to order so there is a little bit of a wait, it isn't like going to Subway and they make it right before your eyes. The wait isn't long though and is well worth it. I'll definitely go back when I get the Philly craving again.

  • Karli F.

I went here with my boyfriend on a whim one lazy afternoon. It's in a strange location and we had to search for it for a little while (not my fault completely). We each got the small sandwich and shared a small fry. I had the steak philly with mushrooms and he had the original. I can't believe those were smalls! I was stuffed. The fries weren't anything special. I wish they'd upgrade those a bit. But of course, I'm a fry snob, so its no surprise I'd say that. It was a big serving for a small though! I'll be back just for the sandwich.

Whenever I finish a Taste of Philly cheesesteak, my reaction is "that hit the spot". A very good sandwich with the right combo of bread, steak, cheese, onions, mushrooms, and peppers. The bread is perfect, soft enough to absorb the flavors of the ingredients but firm enough to offer that sandwich pull. The thing I love about the cheesesteak is that each bite is a perfect one, with everything mixing in your mouth. Plus, you can get Tasty Cakes for dessert.

  • Haley L.

As a disclaimer, I've never had a cheese steak from Philadelphia, so I can't speak to how "authentic" Taste of Philly is. That being said, I DO know that they've got the best cheese steaks I've ever tasted. This used to be one of my favorite lunch spots when I lived in the area. We've moved further into Littleton now, so I don't get out there as much as I wish I could, but I had a chance to go back recently and it was every bit as good as I remember it being. The meat is thin and tender and spiced really well, the cheese melts just right, and there's a ton of different toppings available to you so you can customize the sandwich how you want. They also import some local favorites from Philly, too. There's not much there beyond sandwiches, but if that's what you're in the mood for there's no better option in the area.

Love Taste of Philly!! Great authentic cheesesteak, prices are fair...just a good, basic no-nonsense place for a meal. I'd recommend Taste of Philly!

Ordered 3 Philly's today and went to pick them up. Food was great, and they were made fresh while I was there. Service was friendly and helpful. Will stop by again.

I love that this place offers cheez whiz (unfortunately I discovered this after I ordered an original). Next time! I added chopped cherry peppers to the sandwich which was good, but I probably wouldn't do it again. I also appreciate that they use the amoroso bread. It's also nice that they deliver. The meat on the sandwich was pretty good, but not the best ever. Generally it's a pretty solid place.

Good ole' fashioned philly cheesesteak. I got the Pepper Philly; grilled onions, bell peppers and chopped steak w/melted cheese. Mmm mmm. I was definitley satisfied. My roommate always gets his philly with chicken and he insists its better than the steak, but that just ain't a philly cheesesteak.. ;)
